As I am sure you are aware the forecast for the next couple of days is for extreme heat, the local area is currently under an amber warning.
School will be open as normal, with no exception to the uniform. We have not changed to PE kits as we believe a white cotton tshirt will be cooler than student’s own clothes and while outside will offer more protection against sunburn.
We will provide your child with a filled water bottle each day. We will encourage the children to stay indoors at break and lunchtime but will not enforce this so please make sure they are wearing suntan lotion.
PE lessons will be adapted to make sure the children and staff are safe. We will monitor the situation constantly and inform you if we make any changes.
