A number of Bishopton staff ran the Race for Life this month, we want to say a massive well done to them for running for such a worthy cause!

Staff, pupils and families cannot wait to see a production created by our pupils and artists from Protein tonight. They have spent the last 3 weeks working on this and it promises to be spectacular. We are so unbelievably proud of them.

Spring chicks have arrived!

[smartslider3 slider=5] Students have been waiting patiently since the start of this month for the eggs to hatch and we are proud to announce we have successfully hatched 3 chickens and 3 runner ducks. Students have also drafted diary entries about this exciting experience.

Mental Health Awareness

Pupils in KS2 have been learning about mental health. Pupils defined Mental Health and looked at the different mental health problems and discussed ways of looking after their mental health. We also did some mindfulness breathing exercises which they loved!

#BalanceforBetter is the theme for this year’s International Women’s Day, which is observed each year on March 8. The 2019 initiative is aimed at gender equality, a greater awareness of discrimination and a celebration of women’s achievements. We will be dedicated lesson 1 across the whole school to the achievements of women.
